Change in plans for today

Susan just called me. The two "big" cases are cancelled for today. Apparently there is only one ICU (intensive care unit) bed and it is already in use. Both patients for today would need to stay in the ICU after surgery.

So they are trying to get ahold of patients scheduled for later in the week to see if they can perform some of those surgeries today.
