Group photo

This is us at the beginning of our ~36 hours of travel to get home. We were fresh as daisies. Good thing there's not an "after" photo.

Note two boarding entrances. Huge plane!

Flip Flop Shop

Visiting the Flip Flop Shop in The Nairobi suburb of Karen. They clean the Kenya beaches and then recycle the materials and then carve them into new things. Most of the material is from old flip flops.

The lions killed a Cape Buffalo last night and are just finishing their meal this morning. This zoomed in photo is less graphic than seeing the whole scene.

Ekorian's Mugie Camp

Ekorian's Mugie Camp is small but well appointed. Here are some pictures of the mess tent. The food and service are fantastic. Last photo shows the guest tents.

Kayaking for elephants

We kayaked on this reservoir from end to end and back again, hoping to see elephants come for a drink of water. We saw Élan, Impala, Fish Eagles, and other birds, but no elephants. Now we are on a little island for a picnic lunch. We will be sore tomorrow from the kayaking!
